The next
day the alarm clock rang too early and I was very sleepy. But we had to go to
our next destination. It was Indonesia. Indonesia is a country in South Asia
that occupies a large island between Indochina and Australia, between the
Indian Ocean and the Pacific. Indonesia borders Malaysia on Borneo Island,
Papua New Guinea on New Guinea Island and East Timor on Timor Island. Its
capital city is Jakarta. It has 240 million inhabitants, and it is the fourth biggest
country in the world by population. First we went to Jakarta, where we visited
one of the open lounge bars at the top of the 50 storey tower. There we had the
best view of the megapolis lantern. In this town we saw ancient Borobodur and
Prambanan temples. The last part of the day was the drive with jeeps to Bromo
volcano. We were very sleepy and feel asleep very late that day. In the morning
we went to a very good sea breakfast and then to a big beautiful beach with
white sand.
